Long Island City High School (LIC/Queens, N.Y.) senior football player Elias Morales has earned a spot on the 2nd Team All-New York State Class A squad, today his coach Joseph Giardina announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Morales–a hard-hitting safety who also played receiver for the Bulldogs and is uncommitted–had nine interceptions and made 34 tackles in the 2024 campaign.
On offense, Morales caught three passes and scored two touchdowns between the regular season and playoffs.
In his junior year, Morales made All-City and All-Conference teams.
Long Island City went 7-1 during the regular season, making it to the Public School Athletic League’s (PSAL) Division 2A Conference post-season first round, a 28-18 defeat to Far Rockaway.
