Arthur L. Johnson High School (N.J.) and Team Melious Lightning 17U junior guard Reese Sebok drained 17 points, including connecting on four of five shots from beyond the arc, and junior Jordanna Tarentino dropped in a game-high 20 points in its 58-20 victory over Brearley Saturday on the road.
The Crusaders jumped out to a commanding 29-0 advantage in the first quarter and never looked back.
Sebok added eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, while Tarentino grabbed seven boards and six steals. Junior Julia Lettini contributed a game-best nine rebounds and six points in the Crusaders’ (6-4) win.
Junior Briella Sode led Brearley (3-7) with nine points. Georgia Sode collected a team- best nine boards in the Bears’ defeat.
