Carson, 24, pitched with the University of Tampa, posting a 1.06 ERA with a 2-1 mark, five saves and 32 strikeouts in 34.0 innings of work last season. His impressive numbers helped him earn the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II South All-Region First Team accolade.
Carson has increased his velocity, which sits around 95 mph and has topped out at 96.9 mph, according to sources.
Also, Carson has played at Michigan State and Lansing Community College.
