Red Bank Catholic basketball team (22-4) routed Red Bank Regional (14-7), 73-24, in the Shore Conference Tournament’s (SCT) girl’s quarterfinal round today, as seniors Tessa Carman and Christina Liggio drained 18 points and 17 points, respectively, to lead the way.
In the win, Liggio reached the 1,000-point high school career milestone. Senior Lola Giordano contributed seven points for the Caseys.
Senior Caroline Polloway scored 10 points for the Buccaneers.
Red Bank Catholic faces Manasquan, the home team, on Tuesday in the semifinal round of the SCT. Time has yet to be determined.
