Lexington Legends Sign Former Texas Ranger Curtis Terry


The Lexington Legends of the Atlantic League has inked former Texas Ranger first baseman Curtis Terry, today the team announced via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Terry, 28, spent last season with the Lake County DockHounds of the American Association and the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars of the Atlantic League, hitting a combined .292 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI in 394 at-bats in 104 games.

At the MLB level, Terry had 45 at-bats in 13 contests with the Rangers in the 2021 campaign.

Overall, the 10-year professional baseball veteran sports a career .272 batting average with 136 home runs and 467 RBI.

Texas selected Terry in the 13th round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Ga.
