Ex-Rangers Righty AJ Alexy Heads to Atlantic League’s Lancaster Stomers


The Lancaster Stormers have inked former Texas Rangers right-handed pitcher AJ Alexy for the upcoming 2025 Atlantic League season, today the team has announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

After joining the Stormers in mid-August from the Kansas City Monarchs of the American Association, Alexy, 26, went 2-1 with a sparkling 2.57 ERA in 14 regular-season games, striking out 21 batters in 14 innings of work while allowing just eight knocks. He also toed the hill in two of the four Lancaster playoff tilts.

Alexy was part of the 2021 and 2022 Rangers, making four starts and nine appearances. He sports a 4-2 record across 30 MLB frames.

The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Alexy in the 11th round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Twin Valley High School in Elverson, Pa.
