The Staten Island FerryHawks welcome back pitcher Taylor Lepard for the 2025 Atlantic League season, today the team announced on Facebook.
Lepard joined the FerryHawks midway through the 2024 campaign from the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars, and made 13 starts with the club. The 26-year-old righty posted a 3-6 record with a 4.96 ERA, including a stellar 7-inning effort in which he allowed just one run, struck out four, and earned Player of the Week honors in the process.
Lepard has spent his entire professional baseball career in independent baseball, playing three seasons with the Aigles de Trois-Rivières (Frontier League/2022), Winnipeg Goldeyes and Ottawa Titans (American Association/2023), and Flying Boxcars and Staten Island/2024).
Collegiately, Lepard had pitched for Keiser University in Florida, Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, and the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The FerryHawks open up the year on Friday, April 25th, at 6:30 p.m. on the road at Hagerstown.
