Righty Wes Scott Re-Inks with Lexington Legends for 2025

The Lexington Legends have re-signed right-handed pitcher Wes Scott for the upcoming 2025 Atlantic League season, the team announced via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Scott, 24, pitched for the Legends, going 2-3 with a 4.70 ERA, whiffing 40 batters in 44 frames across nine contests last season.

He posted a 2-2 record with a 5.20 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 36.1 innings of work in 27 games with the Single-A Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals) in 2023.

The Royals picked Scott–a Riverside, Calif., native–in the 8th round of the 2022 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tennessee.
