W.O.W Pro Wrestling: New Breed Recap from Brooklyn, as a Title Changes Hands and Stars Show Up and Show Out

Warriors of Wrestling (W.O.W) returned to Brooklyn last night for its New Breed card at Most Precious Blood Church, where the action was on fire and the hits kept on coming at an insane fever pitch.

There was a championship change, and three successful title defenses, with the Bellini Club (Max Bane, Scotty Priest and Billy Flynn) making their presence known throughout the card.

Here is how the high-octane action shook out.

Vampiro Vs. Dan Maff

In the main event, Vampiro (World Championship Wrestling (WCW) squared off against Dan Maff.

Maff–a Bayonne, New Jersey, native–came out and ripped New York City to shreds before the bout.

Vampiro, who just got out the hospital for numerous aliments, said that he was going to kick Maff’s ass after hearing him blast Gotham and all in attendance who live in the glorious city.

Then, the two combatants went to work, battling back and forth, displaying great in-ring psychology with a bit sense of humor splashed into the match.

Maff put forth his incredible strength and toughness on Vampiro, a 44-year pro wrestling veteran who has sustained 24 concussions during his illustrious career, he noted.

In the end, after a hard-fought match by both experienced and gifted wrestlers, Maff pinned Vamprio for the victory.

But Vamprio issued a warning to the “Bayonne Beast,” saying that he would take time to heal and come after Maff with unyielding vengeance when he least expected.

— W.O.W. Women’s Champ The Bad Chick Vicki Venuto (FKA Vicious Vicki) Vs. Angel Metro–with the “Boogie Woogie Man,” Jimmy Valiant in her corner– for the belt.

Venuto gets ready to deliver some punishment on Metro.

Venuto has been on a roll as of late and fought like hell to keep the strap around her waist against a very talented wrestler in the form of Metro.

With the Bellini Club distracting the ref, Metro came to Valiant’s aid. But Venuto took advantage of the ill-advised move and planted her opponent with a hard-hitting DDT. It resulted in the 1-2-3 win, as Venuto covered Metro and retentained her strap.

Joey Ace, with the Bellini Club) Vs. TJ Marconi

As the Bellini Club tried to interfere in the bout, the ref banned them to the back.

Ace used the used the loose ring rope, which became undone earlier in the night, to choke the mammoth Marconi.

TJ Marconi.

After Marconi recovered from Ace’s assault, he hit his smaller foe with a devastated spear. But Ace managed to kick out.

With the ref down and out, the terror trio reentered the fight from the back. It enabled Ace to climb the turnbuckles and land an effective elbow. With the ref recovered, he was able to count 1-2-3 for the victory.

After the match, however, Marconi doubled chocked slammed Bane and Ace, as Bellini chicken scrambled his way away from the clutches of the irate big man.

— Fatal Five-Way Match with Bane Vs. Tony Booze Vs. Jason Void Vs. Michael Massacre Vs. Odyssey (AKA Odyssey Jones in WWE).

All wrestler quickly pounced on the 6-foot-5, 405-pound Odyssey. But his brute strength helped to fend off the other competitors.

Jones came back to leave massive destruction in his wake.

But with Odyssey outside of the ring, Void and Bane both covered Booze for the victory, with each wrestler hand being raised.

Chris Benne Vs. Mike Datello

In what has developed in a heated grudge and intense rivalry, the two grapplers fought like tooth-and-nail throughout the fight.

The fight festivities started when Staten Island’s own, Datello attacked the bigger Benne, from the Lower East of Manhattan, even before the ref rang the bell to start the match.

Datello, a surefire, up-and-coming talent, nailed Benne with a frog splash. But Benne eventually responded with a devastating power bomb.

The match ended when the ref counted out both competitors.

— Champ Roger Mendez Vs. newcomer Anthony Vincent for the W.O.W. Men’s Heavyweight Belt, with special guest ring announcer Chris Steeler.

Mendez wasted no time in calling out Vincent’s Mom, saying that he was going to teach her son a lesson that he would never, ever forget.

To that end, Mendez quickly established the pace of the match, beating Vincent from pillar to post at every turn. He chopped him to pieces and slapped him around the ring like nobody’s business.

But Vincent responded with his own brand of offense, surprising Mendez with his impressive in-ring abilities, including his high-flying aerobatics and toughness for a spry youngster.

And then from out of nowhere, Mendez delivered an RKO on Vincent for the Victory.

After luring in Vincent at the end of the fight to raise his hand, Mendez closed lined the 18-year-old nearly out of his boots.

That is when Steeler emerged from the back to rescue Vincent.

It looks like Steeler and Mendez will get another chance to settle the score for once and for all in the near future.

— “The Leader of the Culture” Darius Carter and his cohort Abdul Nasir Vs. Novak and Ollie.

Darius Carter beats up Novak.

Carter continued to prove why he is the best heel on the indies, out talking and out wrestling his opponents.

Nasir and Carter used constant tags to keep their opponents off balance.

While Novak and Ollie fought valiantly, Carter pinned Ollie for the triumph.

— No Limits belt Champion Joe Ocasio took on Justin Adams.

Ocasio proceeded to beat the snot of Adams even before the two entered the squared circle.

They feverously battled each other, hitting different spots during the course of the fight.

But Ocasio, who has recovered from a bad knee injury, split Adams in two after nailing a viscous spear on him. The Long Island Landmine quickly covered a supine Adams for the win, to retain his belt.

Tag Team Match for the W.O.W. Championship Belts – Challengers Zae and Mr. Puerto Rico Vs. Champs Flynn and Priest.

After Joe Bellini, the owner of Warriors of Wrestling, attempted to interfere in the bout, it backfired on the Bellini Club.

Mr. Puerto Rico would up covering Priest for the victory. Thus, becoming the new W.O.W. tag team title holders, and pissing off the former champs big time.
