Saddle River Day, Lightning Melious’ Giada Celetti Scores Division III Offer from Swarthmore Hoops

Class of 2026 Giada ‘G’ Celetti of Saddle River Day School (N.J.) and Team Lightning Melious has picked up an offer from Division III Swarthmore College Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach, Dan Melious wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Celetti, a 6-foot-1 power forward/center who uses her toughness and size to establish position underneath the basket, scored 112 points, grabbed 149 rebounds and had 24 assists in 24 games this past season.

Celetti helped the Rebels captured the Bergen County Tournament with a win over Demarest.

The Garnets posted a 8-17 record and went 3-12 Centennial Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign.
