The Cleburne Railroaders have signed right-handed pitcher Nick Paciorek, an ex-New York Yankee farmhand, for the upcoming 2025 American Association season, today the league announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Paciorek last pitched for the High Single-A Hudson Valley Renegades (Yankees), going 4-1 with a 2.63 ERA and three saves in 24.0 innings in 20 games in the 2023 campaign.
Paciorek endured Tommy John surgery in 2021 after tossing 10.1 frames in five appearances between rookie and class A ball before giving away to injury.
The 26-year-old has complied an 8-2 record across parts of four seasons in New York’s minor league system.
Additionally, Paciorek has three uncles–Tom, John, and Jim–who all played in MLB.
The New York Yankees selected Paciorek in the 7th round of the 2019 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois,).
