Former Minnesota junior forward Frank Mitchell is transferring to St. Bonaventure Men’s basketball program, today basketball media outlets wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Mitchell averaged 4.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 15.6 minutes per game, with eight steals in 29 contests.
The 6-foot-8, 260-pound Toronto, Ontario, averaged 12.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game with Canisius in the 2023=24 campaign.
Mitchell played the 2021-22 basketball season at Humber College in Toronto and helped lead the Hawks to the 2022 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championships and the 2022 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Provincial Championship.
The Bonnies posted a 22-12 overall record and went 9-9 in Atlantic 10 Conference action this past season.
