Iona University Division I Men’s basketball program had Ryan Renfro on campus for an official visit over the weekend, today he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Renfro, a sophomore from Glen Ellyn, Ill., averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while shooting 55 percent from the field at D II Lewis University this past season.
At 6-foot-7, 230 pounds, Renfro made the All- Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Defensive Team in the 2024-25 campaign.
Before college, Renfro suited up for U.S. Military Prep, where he averaged 16 points and seven rebounds a contest in 2023-24.
The Gaels posted a 17-17 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in 2024-25.
