On Saturday, April 19th, from 10:00 p.m. to noon, 1986 World Series Champion and former New York Met pitcher Sid Fernandez will be heading to Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) Community Park, home of the Staten Island FerryHawks, for a meet and greet at HawkFest.
For a $30.00 fee, you will get a Fernandez autograph and a ticket voucher to a future FerryHawk game, while $52.00 will permit you to obtain two “El Sid” signatures and two FerryHawks ticket vouchers to a future game.
The crafty lefty and two-time All-Star played 15 MLB seasons for the Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles and Houston Astros, posting a 114-96 record with a 3.36 ERA in 1866.2 innings of work in 307 games.
