Buffalo Basketball Adds Kyle Jones: Transfer from St. Thomas Aquinas


Former St. Thomas Aquinas (DII) guard/forward Kyle Jones is transferring to Division I University of Buffalo Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Jones, a red-shirted sophomore hooper with two years of eligibility remaining, averaged 6.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the field in 12 contests played in the 2024-25 campaign.

Jones attended Pomfret School in Pomfret, Connecticut, before going to college.

The Bisons posted a 9-22 overall record and went 4-14 in Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) action this past season.
