Kansas transfer guard David Coit, who played for New Jersey’s Atlantic Cape Community College, today has committed to Division I Maryland Men’s basketball program, today he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 5-foot-11 senior averaged 5.1 points per game this past season and averaged 20.8 points per game at Northern Illinois last year.
Coit, who is from Columbus, N.J., led New Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III in scoring after averaging 30.6 points per contests with Atlantic Cape.
Maryland posted a 27-9 overall record and went 14-6 in the Big 10 Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign, plus made it to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.
