The Lake Country DockHounds have signed former New York Met right-handed pitcher Robert Gsellman for the upcoming 2025 independent American Association season, the league recently announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Gsellman, 31, played with the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings (Washington Nationals) during the 2024 campaign.
Additionally, Gsellman spent six seasons with the Mets, posting a 20-16 record in 305.2 innings of work in 176 games. The Los Angeles, California, native also suited up for one year with the Chicago Cubs, going 0-2 in 15.1 frames in eight contests in the 2022 campaign.
New York selected Gsellman in the 13th round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Westchester High School in Los Angeles, California.
