Former Elon guard T.J. Simpkins is transferring to Seton Hall Men’s basketball program, yesterday hoop sources announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pound sophomore out of Brooklyn N.Y., averaged 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game for the Phoenix last season.
Before Elon, Simpkins played for Northwest Florida State (JUCO), where he averaged 15.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game as red-shirted freshman in the 2023-24 season.
Additionally, he played high school basketball for Liberty Heights Christian in North Carolina.
Seton Hall posted a 7-25 overall record and went 2-18 in Big East Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign.
