Brooklyn Collegiate Alum Tahron Allen Enters Basketball Transfer After Playing at Delaware


Brooklyn Collegiate High School alum Tahron Allen has entered the NCAA basketball transfer portal after a season at Delaware. He will seek a waiver to hit the hardwood after playing four years of college hoops.

Allen averaged 4.6 points and 1.0 rebounds per game with the Blue Hens this past season.

At Staten Island’s Wagner, in 2023-24, he averaged 10.5 points while helping the team qualify for March Madness. Also, the Northeast Conference named Allen the MVP of the NEC Tournament after averaging 18.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Allen’s complete stats for his junior season with the Seahawks were: 10.6 points and 5.0 boards per contest, while shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc, 71 percent from the charity stripe, and dished out 30 assists and made 20 steals.

He also spent a year at Monmouth University as a freshman.

Delaware posted a 16-20 mark and went 5-13 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
