Warwick Valley, Team Lightning Melious’ Angelika Quadrino Picks Ramapo for College Hoops


Class of 2025 point guard Angelika “Jelly” Quadrino of Warwick Valley High School (N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious has verbally committed to Division III Ramapo College Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach Dam Melious announced on X.

Quadrino, who scored nine points, helped Warwick Valley to a 40-31 win over Section 4’s Horseheads Blue Raiders in the Class AA Girl’s New York State basketball regional final in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Wildcats went 21-2, and went all the way to the state semifinal, a loss to Section 5’s Aquinas Institute.

The Roadrunners posted a 3-22 record and went 2-16 in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action this past season.
