Former 2025 Northwest Florida State (JUCO/NCAA Region 8) center Rupee Kolawole is Brooklyn-bound, as he has signed with the Division I LIU Sharks’ Men’s basketball program, the university’s hoops team wrote on X.
The 7-foot-2, 230-pound big man had averaged 1.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 11 contests played in the 2024-25 campaign as a sophomore.
The Aachen, German native attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas as a freshman.
The Sharks improved last college basketball season, posting a 17-16 overall record and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action. They had put up a 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
