The Minnesota Twins have purchased the contract of former Washington Wild Things right-handed pitcher Brent Francisco, yesterday the independent Frontier League reported via X.
Francisco had tossed five innings of scoreless ball in three games with the Wild Things before the Twins purchased his contract.
The 23-year-old spent last summer with the Morehead City Marlins of the Coastal Plain League and the Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League, where he combined to go 6-5 in both associations.
Before that, Francisco posted a 30-10 mark with a 3.08 ERA in 292.1 innings of work in 59 contests in five seasons with Division II East Stroudsburg University.
