LuHi’s Dylan Mingo Receives D1 Hoops Offer from Oklahoma Sooners


Class of 2026 Long Island Lutheran High School (LuHi/N.Y.) point guard Dylan Mingo has received an offer from Division I University of Oklahoma Sooners Men’s basketball program, today he wrote via X.

The 6-foot-5 Mingo also holds offers from Illinois, Providence, St. John’s, Ole Miss., Florida State, Dayton, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Washington, among other programs, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Additionally, Dylan’s bother, Kayden, is committed to Penn State and suited up for LuHi as well.

The Sooners posted a 20-14 overall record and went 6-12 in Southeastern Conference (SEC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
