Life Center Academy’s Joel Kabugi Picks Up Offers from Alcorn and Rider Hoops


Class of 2027 Life Center Academy (N.J.) wing Joel Kabugi has earned offers from Division I Alcorn State and Rider Men’s basketball programs, yesterday he wrote on X.

Kabugi also holds an offer from La Salle, according to VerbalCommits.com.

The 6-foot-3 Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, native drained 162 points (8.53 p.p.g.), grabbed 128 rebounds and rejected 21 shots this past season.

The Team Final player also possesses excellent defensive abilities, and the explosive skill to get to the basket and finish with authority.

Rider posted a 14-19 overall record and went 9-11 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2024-25 campaign.
