Class of 2026 St. Francis Prep High School (Queens, N.Y.) forward Oesoemana Sacko has received an offer from Division I Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn Men’s basketball program, today multiple basketball media outlets on X.
The 6-foot-7, 200-pound, four-star player also holds offers from St. John’s, Fordham, FIU, Marist, Manhattan, Old Dominion and Bryant, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Because his nice size and sharp outside shooting ability, Sacko has been able to post double doubles at a consistent rate. Additionally, he plows his way to rim with ease and finishes, with a nice, deep shooting touch, displaying sweet finesse for a player his size.
The Sharks had improved last college basketball season, posting a 17-16 overall record and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action. They had put up a 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
