Fresh off basketball camps over the weekend, Class of 2027 Malia Jackson of Shaker High School (N.Y.) has earned her first two offers from the Siena Saints and the Canisius Griffins Division I Women’s basketball programs, she recently wrote on X.
Jackson, a 6-foot-2 center/forward, also suits up for the NY Havoc 16U AAU squad.
A stalwart rim protector, robust rebounded and a solid three-point shooter, Jackson offers a lot of different aspects of the game that will make one program very lucky to land her.
The rising junior had picked up the New York State Sportswriters Association (NYWSSA) All-State Team Class AAA honor mention as a sophomore this past season.
The Saints posted a 17-14 overall mark and went 14-6 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
