Warriors of Wrestling (W.O.W) is set to feature two electrifying professional wrestling cards in New York City over the weekend of Friday, July 18th at 6:00 p.m. in Breezy Point, Queens, at St. Thomas More Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd.), and then on Saturday, July 19th, at 6:00 p.m. at Fun Station USA (3555 Victory Blvd.) on the isle of Staten, in New York, baby.
First, Nahir Robles will defend her W.O.W. Women’s Championship belt against Nat Castle, the Latina Spice, at its Payback card in Queens.
This will be Robles second title defense, and she vows not to drop the strap to anyone any time soon.
Also performing at the event will be gifted grapplers such as the Standard Bearer — Chris Steeler, Max Bane, The All-Farther Darius Carter, TJ Marconi, Roger Mendez, E-Roc, Joey Ace, Zae, Mr. Puerto Rico, Chris Benne, Mike Datello, Scotty Preist, Jalen White, Suzy, The Brooklyn Pit Bull, Tony Booze, and the demented one, Jason Void as well as other wrestlers.
The next night, W.O.W. will head over to Staten Island, where two special, popular wrestling tag teams will headline the high-octane action.
Former WWE superstars the Headbangers, Mosh and Thrashers, are set to go ballistic on any tag team that gets in their path. Plus, Total Non-Stop Action’s (TNA) Spitfire of Dani Luna and Jody Threat, who held the straps at one point, will join the fray.
Also, Danny Storm, Ace, Datello, Steeler, and Benne will all face each other in a fatal five-way thrilling match to determine who will hold the Men’s W.O.W Heavyweight title.
Anything goes when it comes to that glorious gold.
Additionally, in the main event, W.O.W. will hold an Ultimate Survival Rumble-type of match in which 30 wrestlers will collide and attempt to throw each other over the top rope. The last wrestler remaining in the ring will receive a shot at the Heavyweight strap.
One particular wrestler, The Glamzilla promises to walk in, cause havoc and massive destruction, and emerge as the winner in the end. Then, she said, she will go on beat the champ and become the first-ever women to hold the W.O.W. Heavyweight Championship.
Who can argue with that point with her? Watch The Glamzilla’s message in the video below.
General admission for the first night is $25.00 and front row is $30.00. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., while bell time is 7:00 p.m.
