Colonia High School (N.J.) and Team Final Aiden Derkack has earned an offer from the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans’ division I basketball program, today he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-5 Derkack has been experiencing quite the recruiting journey, with offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Rutgers, Creighton, Dayton, TCU, Radford, Villanova, Albany, Florida International, Xavier, Bryant, Merrimack, Miami, among others, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Derkack, a rising senior guard whom ESPN has a top a top 50 player in the 2026 class, scored a team-best 790 points, grabbed 260 rebounds, and dished out 88 assists with the Patriots this past New Jersey high school boy’s hoops season.
USC put up a 17-18 overall record and went 7-13 in Big 10 Conference action this past campaign.
