Chatham HS’s Charlie Murray Notches DIII Football Offer from University of Rochester


Chatham High School (N.J.) rising senior Charlie Murray has received an offer from Division III University of Rochester football program, today he wrote on X.

If Murray decides to commit to Rochester, the football program will hold a roster spot for him.

Additionally, Murray holds an offer from D3 Ursinus College.

Plus, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound linebacker/tight end made 66 tackles (second on the Cougars), five of which went for a loss last year. Additionally, he is a powerful student-athlete who squats 455 pounds and benches 270 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.77 seconds.

Also, Murray impresses in the classroom, receiving entry into the National Honor Society (NHS) in his junior year, and is active in his Chatham community, helping others, including his peers, become better, more productive citizens.

The Yellowjackets, who posted a 6-5 overall record, compete in the Liberty League Conference (LLC), in which they went 2-4 in the 2024-25 campaign.
