St. Thomas Aquinas’ Jordan Barnes Commits to Rider Women’s Basketball

Jordan Barnes of St Thomas Aquinas High School (N.J.) has decided to stay close to home, as she has verbally committed to Division I Rider University Women’s basketball program, yesterday she announced on X.

The 6-foot rising senior dynamic guard also suited up for Team Sharp Carolina 17U squad.

Barnes drained 306 points, grabbed 177 rebounds, dished out 55 assists, and made 73 steals in 30 contests this past season.

Barnes is the type of player that enjoys playing an up-tempo style of game, pushing the offense every chance that she gets, especially in transition. Also, she can score from just about anywhere on the hardwood, and is a very good defender, making it hard for the opposition to establish any type of real offensive rhythm, per reports.

The Broncs put up a 7-22 overall record and went 5-15 in MAAC action in the 2024-24 campaign.
