New Yorker Anderson Diaz Receives Auburn Basketball Offer

Class of 2027 Lawrence Woodmere Academy (Long Island, N.Y.) guard Anderson Diaz has received an offer from Division I Auburn Men’s basketball, yesterday he wrote on X.

The 6-foot-1 Diaz–from the Bronx, N.Y.–also holds offers from Syracuse, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Fordham, Florida A&M, Cincinnati, Hampton, among other programs, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Diaz, who also suits up for the NY Renaissance (Rens) AAU squad, has heard from Louisville, Syracuse, UCLA, and Illinois consistently, per basketball scout Zach Smart. Arkansas has been in the conservation, as well.

The left-handed scorer can drop buckets at all three levels. And basketball scouts also considered him to be a high-level facilitator with an extremely high ceiling.

The Tigers posted a 21-13 overall record and went 10-8 Southeast Conference (SEC) action this past season.
