Class of 2026 Hotchkiss School (Ct.) guard Owen Zabel has received an offer from the Division I Iona Gaels Men’s basketball program, his first, he recently wrote on X.
Zabel, who also suits up for the NY Jayhawks AAU team, is a 5-foot-11 point guard from the Bronx, N.Y., who is a three-level scorer. Also, he owns excellent court vision and a high basketball acumen.
Iona posted a 17-17 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in the 2024-25 campaign.
