Warriors of Wrestling (W.O.W) returns with its highly anticipated annual event, “King of New York Tournament,” taking place on Friday, September 6th at 6:00 p.m. The action unfolds at Funtime USA, located at 3555 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, N.Y.
The high-octane card will feature former WWE NXT standout Von Wagner, a 6-foot-5, 255 pound behemoth of a wrestler who played college football at the University of Central Florida, where he suited up at the tight end position.
In the main event, current W.O.W. Heavyweight champ Chris Steeler, who defeated four other grapplers to capture the belt at Ultimate Survival, will take on the five-star stud Joey Ace and Wagner in a triple threat battle for the glorious strap.
In what will sure to be a tournament for the ages, 24 combatants will enter the Lethal Lottery. Partners are chosen at random with winning teams advancing to the Battle Bowl. The last person standing will lay claim to the regal 2025 King of New York title.
In other action, Dulce Tormenta locks up against Harleen Lopez.
Additional wrestlers schedule to appear are Mike Mistrella, Jay Evans, E-Roc, Leader of The Culture Darius Carter, Roger Mendez, Nikita, Super Oprah, Beastman, the Big Man TJ Marconi, Mike Datello, Max Bane, Kuda Montana, Chris Benne, Danny Storm, Justin Adams, and more.
Also, there will be a special appearance by former WWE superstar Marty Jannetty.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., while bell time is 7:00 p.m. General admission is $30.00 per ticket, and front row is $35.00 per ticket.
