The New York Mets have promoted catcher Kevin Parada to Triple-A Syracuse after posting an .872 OPS since August 1 for Double-A Binghamton, today SNY reported via X.
Overall, Parada had slugged 10 home runs and 50 RBI with .429 slugging percentage in 315 at-bats in 92 games with the Rumble Ponies before the Mets called him up to Central New York.
New York selected the Pasadena, Calif., native in the first round, 11th overall, of the 2022 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga.
Parada, 24, attended Loyal High School in Los Angeles, Calif.
