Class of 2026 Saddle River Day (N.J.) and Team Lightning Melious forward Giada ‘G’ Celetti has received an offer from Division II Georgian Court University Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach Dan Melious wrote on X.
Celetti also holds offers from Rend Lake College (JUCO), and Division III Meredith, Swarthmore, and Allegheny, according to my previous stories.
She drained 112 points, grabbed 149 rebounds, and made 23 blocks in 24 contests played this past New Jersey girls’ high school season. Additionally, Celetti helped the Rebels captured the Bergen County Tournament (BCT) with a win over Demarest.
At 6-foot-1, Celetti’s length and overall size permits her to defend the paint well on both ends of the floor, as well as being a defensive and offensive rebounding force.
New Jersey’s Georgian Court posted a 6-22 overall record and went 6-10 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
