Class of 2028 Mount Saint Michael Academy’s (Bronx, N.Y.) Supreme Hinton and Shane Lopez have received offers from Florida A&M Division I basketball program, Lopez recently wrote on X.
The Rattlers’ offer was the first for Hinton, and second for Lopez, who also holds one from Manhattan, according to sources.
Hinton is a 6-foot-2 shooting guard who can get to the hoop on the regular and finish. Plus, he defends well, while Lopez is 5-foot-10 point guard who handles the position the way it is meant to be played. He is elusive and hard to guard, looking to pass to open teammates more often than not.
Both players are works in progress, but given their youth, they have high ceilings at this point in their high school hoop careers.
Florida A&M posted a 13-16 overall record and went 10-8 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action in the 2024-25 season.
