The 6-foot-1 Kirksey–who played high school hoops at Our Saviour Lutheran School in the Bronx–held offers from Manhattan, Jacksonville State, UMBC, Kansas City, Oakland, Little Rock, Western Carolina, Cal State Fullerton, among other programs, per VerbalCommits.com.
The Newark, N.J., native averaged 7.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in 30 contests with the Odessa College Wrangles last season.
The Mustangs, who compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s (NJCAA) Region 15 Conference, posted a 26-8 record and won the in the East District Championship Tournament in the 2024-25 campaign.
The Matadors posted a 22-11 overall record and went 14-6 Big West Conference (BWC) play in the 2024-25 campaign.
