The Ziogas family continues to get the basketball recognition it deserves, as class of 2028 Hope Ziogas of New Rochell High School *N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious has picked up an offer from Division I Moorehead State Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach wrote on X.
Additionally, the sophomore guard holds an offer from Tennessee Southern.
Hope enjoyed breakout AAU seasons with Team Lightning this past spring and summer, proving the college hoop attention she is receiving now is not a fluke.
As for her family basketball lineage, Hope’s sister and teammate on both of her squads, Stella, is committed to D-I Siena, while Grace is a sophomore guard for D-II Pace. Her dad, Todd, also played for Pace, and is tied for second all-time in program history with 1,892 career-points.
Moorehead State put up a 10-20 overall mark and went 5-15 in Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) play in the 2024-25 campaign.
