North Texas Secures Commitment from Top HS Basketball Player: T.J. Crumble of Long Island Lutheran


Class of 2026 Long Island Lutheran High School (LuHi/N.Y.) stretch forward T.J. Crumble has committed to the University of North Texas’ Division I Men’s basketball program, yesterday basketball media outlets announced on X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-8, 205-pound four-star player held offers from Mississippi State, DePaul, South Florida, Penn State, Iowa, Jackson State, and other D1 programs, per VerbalCommits.com.

According to 247’s all-time rankings, Crumble–a Clevland, Ohio, native–is the second highest rated commit ever in North Texas program history.

The former Lutheran East High School (Ohio) product averaged 26.7 points and 13.3 rebounds per contest last season for the Lutheran Falcons, proving he possesses game-changing abilities.
