Class of 2026 offensive lineman Octavius White of Frank J. Macchiarola Educational Complex High School (FJM/Sheepshead Bay) in Brooklyn has received an offer from Division II Pace University Football program, his first, today he wrote on X.
White is a 6-foot-4, 280-pound captain and student-athlete who holds an impressive 3.7 GPA while helping the Sharks to an 8-0 regular season record and to a PSAL 3A Championship win over Madison this year.
FJM’s co-offensive coordinator Diondre ‘Mac’ McFadden sang White’s praises at the beginning of the 2025-26 campaign and believes he will play at the next level after graduation.
“He has amazing footwork, and works on his technique every day,” McFadden pointed out, regarding White’s O-line strong suits, adding that, “he’s very coachable, and is strong.”

The Setters posted a 0-11 record and competed in the Northeast 10 Conference in 2025.
