Katty L’Amoreaux of Fairfield University Women’s basketball program has earned the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Air Force Reserve Women’s Player of the Week award, today the league announced.
The alum of Maine-Endwell High School (N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious AAU team averaged 27.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 4.5 steals in Fairfield’s 1-1 week. The junior guard also connected on 63 percent of her shots from the hardwood and 53 percent from deep while hitting eight total three-pointers.
Additionally, she erupted for a career-high 31 points in the victory over Richmond, knocking down five from beyond the arc and matching her personal best with six steals. Against Howard, L’Amoreaux once again paced the team, finishing with 23 pointsโ19 of which came in a dominant second-half performance.
