Class of 2028 St. Mary’s High School (N.Y.) guard Morell Toney has received an offer from Fairfield University of Men’s basketball program, yesterday sources wrote on X.
In addition to the Stags’ offer, the 6-foot sophomore holds one from Murray State, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Morell, who starred at Uniondale High School (Long Island, N.Y.) last year, is quite the player. He owns all the necessary skills that has made him a player to eye going forward: strength, quickness, and a nose for the hoop with the ability to score in traffic, as well as being off balance. Plus, he owns a sweet outside jumper.
Fairfield is 6-5 so far this season, and will travel to Central Connecticut State Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
