Maria Ribeiro of Hendrick Hudson High School (Hen Hud/Westchester N.Y.) enjoyed a fantastic game, propelling her team to a 46-39 victory over Pleasantville with a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds Thursday night on the road.
Ribeiro — a junior three-sport (flag football and soccer) athlete who also suits up for Team Lightning Melious AAU squad and holds a 4.0 GPA — added three steals.
Kate Stratton also scored 12 points in the win.
Hen Hud will play in the Mahopac Tournament on Monday, December 29th at 5:00 p.m. on the road.
