Class of 2028 Brewster Academy (N.H.) guard Kevin Wheatley, Jr. has received an offer from Syracuse Men’s basketball program, yesterday basketball media outlets wrote on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-7, 200-pound Rahway, New Jersey, native, who also plays AAU hoops for the NY Lightning, holds offers from Rutgers, Auburn, and Georgia Tech, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Wheatley, who previously suited for Our Saviour Lutheran School (Bronx), is athletic and aggressive on offense, the slasher-type, with a strong scoring touch. Plus, he challenges shooters on defense, often blocking and altering shots.
Syracuse is 8-4 so far this season and will host Stonehill tomorrow at 7:00 p.m.
