Cleburne Railroaders Ink Ex-Yankees Prospect Brandon Wagner


The Cleburne Railroaders have signed New Jersey native and former New York Yankees infield farmhand Brandon Wagner for the upcoming 2026 American Association (an MLB Partner League) season, yesterday the league wrote on X.

Wagner spent last year with the Lancaster Stormers of the Atlantic League, hitting two home runs, eight RBI, seven runs scored in 44 at-bats in 15 games.

Wagner played for the Howard College Hawks of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) before the Yankees selected him in the 6th round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft.

Wagner attended Immaculata High School in Somerville, N.J.
