Gary SouthShore RailCats Ink Outfielder Scout Knotts for 2026 AA Campaign

The Gary SouthShore RailCats have signed outfielder Scout Knotts, a Division II Shippensburg University Raider (Pa.) alum, for the upcoming 2026 American Association (AA) campaign, today the league announced via X.

Knotts, 26, spent the last three seasons with the Lake Erie Crushers of the AA, slugging 18 home runs, 91 RBI and swiped 13 bases.

Before turning professional, Knotts played five years of college baseball with the Raiders and Maine, and a summer with the Williamsport Crosscutters of the MLB Draft League in 2022, seeing action in 10 games.
