The San Francisco Giants signed former Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League) pitcher Mitch White to a minor league deal, the MLB partner league announced on X.
The hard-throwing White posted a 3.77 ERA with 11 saves across 31.0 innings in the 2025 season. During the 2024 campaign, the Livonia, Michigan, native put up a 3.42 ERA while striking out 52 batters and recording a 1.12 WHIP in 37 games in 50.0 innings of work with the Boomers.
White played collegiate baseball at Abilene Christian University and the University of Cincinnati before starting his professional career.
