Senior Noah Mustafa (29) and junior Gus Watts (24) combined to score 53 points in Richard Green High School of Teaching’s (Manhattan) Boy’s basketball 76-70 victory over East Side Community (9-1) Saturday at Seward Park High School Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Division 1A — Manhattan- I.
Mustafa added eight assists and six rebounds, while junior Zachary Zeitoun contributed 15 points in the Bulls’ win, their 11th of the season in league action. Jose Cox had six points, eight helpers, and grabbed a game-best 15 boards.
Senior Daniel Silva led all scorers with 30 points, and added eight rebounds, while senior Jeremiah Eagan chipped in with 17 points in East Side’s defeat.
Richard Green HS faces Bard High School Early College – Manhattan Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Broadway Educational Campus (10 Broadway, Manhattan).
