New Jersey’s Spencer Bauer Signs with Sioux Falls Canaries


Spencer Bauer, a right-handed pitcher from Manasquan, N.J., has inked with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association, an MLB Partmer League, yesterday the league announced via X, as he begins is professional baseball career.

Bauer–who played for Manasquan High School and Christian Brothers Academy, both in N.J.–pitched for University of Central Florida and Elon University, posting an 8-5 record with 4.78 ERA in six seasons between both teams.

Bauer, who played club ball for Sportika Gallagher, threw a no-hitter in high school, was a two-time Preseason Underclass All-American, and made second team All-Shore Conference.
