Former FDU Infielder Hunter D’Amato Re-Ups with Sussex County Miners for 2026


The Sussex County Miners have re-signed infielder Hunter D’Amato for the upcoming 2026 Frontier League campaign, the team recently announced via X.

D’Amato, 24, batted .286 while pacing the Miners in runs scored (87), walks (53), sacrifice knocks (12), and stolen bases (26) in 2025. He also hit two home runs and 36 RBI in 374 at-bats in 93 games.

Additionally, the Coral Springs, Florida-born player suited up for four years for the Division I Farleigh Dickinson University (FDU) baseball program in Teaneck, New Jersey, hitting .342 with 77 stolen bases in 789 at-bats in 196 contests.
